Steps on Putting On Our Corsets:
Loosen the laces so that their is more than enough slack to wrap the corset around
your waist making sure the label is placed at the top.
Hook the eyes in the front, starting with the 2nd eye and working your way down.
When you reach the bottom go back and hook the top eye last.
Remove slack in the lacing by pulling the loops located in the middle of the corset's back.
Tightening the laces on a corset is very much like tightening the laces on a boot. Find the X where the laces cross at the top and pull out the slack. Next, pull the slack from the 2nd X and then the 3rd X. Pull the middle loops to remove the slack you have gathered from the top half of the corset.
Repeat step 4, starting at the bottom and working to the middle.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have reached the desired tightness.
Finally, tie the laces in the middle into a bow.
Taking It Off:
Untie your bow and loosen the laces so their is no pressure on the hooks.
Unhook the eyes, starting from the bottom and ending at the top, then remove.
*Do not try to remove the corset without loosening the lacing. This can damage the corset.
Tips:
Avoid wearing your panty hose under your corset. Because the hose is very tight and stretchy, they will be almost impossible to pull down when the corset is laced tight. If you wish to wear hosiery with a skirt, then thigh-high stockings or stockings with a garter belt will provide more comfort and accessibility.
A strapless bra will work better under your clothing. Because the corset tends to push you up, bra straps will be looser and fall down. If you do wear a bra with straps, adjust the straps to take up the slack.
Tops made of thinner material will work the best under a corset. Any style top can be worn, but avoid bulky clothing.
If wearing pants or jeans, low- rise will be easier to remove. The pants will also be more flattering if they fit snugly in the hips.
Our corsets can be worn with both fuller skirts and straight skirts. Fuller skirts will help to accentuate the hourglass look, while straight skirts will render a more slimming appearance.

Relacing:
Our corsets are laced with 7 yards of ribbon.
When you relace, start underneath at the top and come up through the first set of grommets.
Make three sets of crossed X's. The middle set of grommets will be used to form the laces for pulling and tightening your corset. Continue to make 3 more sets of crossed X's. You should wind up with the lacing going over and ending beneath the corset.
Caring for the busk:
When putting on the corset, it is important that you loosen the laces completely before closing the busk. Otherwise, you will put too much pressure on the busk and after many times of doing this, you may break the busk.
The same applies to taking the corset off. Completely loosen the laces before opening the front busk.
Cleaning:
All of our corsets are dry clean only. If you order a denim fabric, you may spot treat it but do not fully wash it.
Storage:
You can either store the corset by folding it and placing it back in the bag we supply you with or you may loosen it completely and hang it over a plastic hanger. You can also close the busk and use a skirt hanger.
