About Timeless-Trends CorsetsUnderbust Corsets by Timeless-Trends Our underbust corsets are cut from an authentic Victorian pattern circa 1880. Timeless-Trends commits to quality by constructing our corsets with three layers of fabric. We start with two layers of the finest quality cotton twill for superior strength, and finish with a fashionable decorative layer of quality fabric. You'll find 26 spiral steel stays, a steel busk, and 6 flat steel bars in our corsets. These ensure stability, comfort, and strength. Overbust Corsets by Timeless-Trends We have designed the overbust corset using four busk lengths. This allows us to correctly fit a wide range of sizes. Busk length is much more important in a overbust style than in an underbust style. The cup must be high enough to cover the nipple, and the busk must come down far enough to cover the stomach. This makes it difficult to correctly fit some body types. For example, if a person is very tall and wears a size 20-22, the busk may be too short. If a person is short and wears a size 36-38, the corset may be too long. We use a 12 inch busk for sizes 20-22, a 13 inch busk for sizes 24-28, a 14 inch busk for sizes 30-34, and a 15 inch busk for sizes 36-38. Sizes 36-38 may be too long for people shorter than 5'3" who also have a short torso. In the future we will offer sizes 36-38 in a 14 inch busk, but this is not yet available. We size the cups by small, medium, and large. The small size will fit American bra cup sizes A and small B. The medium size will fit bra cup sizes full B and C. The large size will fit bra cup sizes D to DD. Depending on the person and how they want the corset to fit, the large may fit a DDD or even larger. Our overbust corsets come with slits in the sides that can be adjusted to hip size. This allows for both a more comfortable fit and a more flattering appearance. Returns and Exchanges We realize that there are a lot of variables involved in choosing the correct size. As always, if you are not happy with the corset for any reason, you have 45 days to return it for a full refund or exchange.
